Beta Test Extended — 7 More Days

Tomorrow was originally the last day of our Beta Test — we've decided to extend it by another 7 days. For the rest of the test every Item Mall item is free, so try anything you like and help us test it while you're there.

Please read this part: when the Beta Test ends, all characters, items, equipment and progress will be wiped — including everything taken from the free Item Mall. Nothing carries over to launch, so spend the week playing rather than hoarding.

Attack Speed — One Swing Speed for Every Weapon

Your weapon decides how hard you hit and how far you reach — it no longer decides how often you hit. Attack Speed is a property of your character now, and the stat on your character sheet is finally the number that drives it. Damage lands on your swings instead of piling up between them.

Every weapon moved to the middle: launchers gain +50%, bows, guns and crossbows +20%, while katars lose 20% and one-hand swords 7%. The new rate is the median of all 4,146 weapons in the game, so the typical weapon deals the same damage per second it always did — this is a sync fix, not a server-wide buff.

Stat System Rebalance — Every Stat Now Matters

We've rebuilt how character stats work. Charm did literally nothing, Intelligence was only a mana bar, Dexterity didn't touch Attack Speed, and nothing defended against criticals. All six attributes now do something real for your class, with Magic Attack, Heal Power, Buff Power, Critical DEF and Craft Quality added to your character sheet.

Your stat points have already been refunded — just log in and the reset happens automatically. Overall power is unchanged: HP, MP, Defence, Dodge and Accuracy are identical, and monsters, drops and gear are untouched. Only the shape of your build changed.

Fixed — Missing HP and MP Bars After Respawning

If you died and chose a respawn point, the name and the HP and MP bars floating above your character disappeared and stayed gone for the rest of the session. The bars were switched off the moment you died — the same way they are for a monster — and nothing ever switched them back on. Now they come back with you. Your health was never actually wrong; only the display over your head went missing.
